Purpose of the Position: The Network Operations Center (NOC)
Supervisor oversees the daily activities of the Network Operations
Security Center (NOSC), ensuring optimal service availability,
product reliability, and high-quality support for both internal and
external stakeholders. This role combines hands-on technical
involvement with leadership responsibilities, including shift
supervision, staff mentoring, escalation management, and continuous
improvement of operational processes. Key responsibilities include
services commissioning and activation, real-time network
monitoring, fault detection and resolution, issue escalation and
tracking, and centralized communication of network problems. The
scope covers all aspects of IP, VoIP, and RF Satellite systems,
including data, voice, and video services. Required Skills and
Knowledge: · Supervise a team of NOC technicians across rotating
shifts · Monitor shift performance and ensure SLA and KPI adherence
· Provide technical escalation and hands-on support for complex
RF/IP issues · Conduct shift turnovers and ensure accurate
documentation and ticket management · Perform proactive terrestrial
and RF network monitoring, fault isolation, diagnostics, and repair
· Oversee service restoration and ensure timely updates in the
ticketing system · Ensure team members utilize integrated network
administration tools effectively · Support all network changes
including new commissioning, activations, upgrades, and
deactivations · Maintain high standards in documenting all problem
reports and NOSC activities · Provide in-depth technical guidance
and field support via phone and email · Coordinate escalations with
engineering teams and senior leadership · Meet or exceed call
management performance metrics · Track and report on network
operating metrics, fault management, and performance trends · Carry
out periodic spot checks on NOSC responsibilities to ensure
consistency in line with network and customer SLA requirements ·
Identify training needs and coach NOC Specialists · Assist in
staffing plans, on-boarding, and evaluations · Support special
projects and provide input on NOSC process improvements Skills and
Knowledge: · Proven expertise in Level I/II troubleshooting for RF
and IP-based systems · Strong leadership abilities with experience
in team coordination and support · Advanced communication skills,
including effective escalation management with internal teams and
external partners · Proficient in Windows Domain environments,
including Active Directory, DNS, Telnet, DHCP, FTP, and SSL ·
In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP networking principles and practices ·
Hands-on experience with iDirect platforms (iBuilder, iMonitor),
SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Splunk and SatMonics · Familiarity with
VSAT systems and auto-acquiring antenna technologies · Skilled in
VoIP configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting · Knowledge of
Teleport Earth Station operations, including vendor coordination ·
Practical experience with MPLS, IPSEC, BGP, and OSPF networking
protocols Qualifications: B.S in Electrical Engineering (BSEE),
Computer Science (BSCS), or equivalent professional experience ·
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Network Operations or
Field Support · 2 to 4 years of experience in a Team Lead or
Supervisory role · Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop
technical teams · Strong written and verbal communication skills ·
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence ·
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic,
fast-paced environment · Familiarity with call management and
ticketing systems · Flexibility to work various shifts, including
