Sibley’s campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers. /n/n What Awaits You? /n/n /n - Free onsite parking /n - Career growth and development /n - Tuition Assistance /n - Diverse and collaborative working environment /n - Comprehensive and affordable benefits package /n /n/n General Summary: /n/n /n - Responsible for oversight of Pharmacy department operations including scheduling, personnel management, procurement of medications, sterile and non-sterile compounding, day to day operations, and coordination of pharmacy workflow and integration of pharmacy technology to support best practices. /n - Participates in quality-assurance activities, represents department on hospital-wide and unit specific committees, and serves as a resource for other pharmacists and health care practitioners. /n - In collaboration with Director of Pharmacy, Clinical Operations Manager counterpart, Clinical Pharmacy Manager and Informatics Pharmacist, actively involved in the origin, planning, implementation, and operation of departmental projects and services. /n - Works closely with internal and external customers and internal resources to develop, establish, provide and monitor pharmacy services for direct patient care. /n - Oversees and manages sterile compounding processes and hazardous drug program to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (TJC, CMS, USP 797 and 800). /n - Manages the staffing, recruitment, discipline, training and development of direct reports to support pharmacy operations and employee growth. /n /n/n Minimum Education and Experience: /n/n /n 1. Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy resulting in PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required. /n 2. Active District of Columbia pharmacist license required. /n 3. Completion of an ASHP accredited residency program or equivalent experience required. /n 4. Advanced training to obtain skills consistent with an MS, MBA, MPH, or equivalent managerial experience is required. /n 5. At least two years of hospital pharmacy practice experience is required. /n 6. At least two years of pharmacy supervisory experience preferred. /n /n/n Shift: Full-Time, Day Shift. /n Salary Range: Minimum 61.15 per hour - Maximum 106.99 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
