DESCRIPTION Operations & Management: 1. Oversee fire alarm service
and maintenance operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and
compliance with codes and regulations. 1. Manage the scheduling and
dispatching of fire alarm service technicians. 1. Develop and
implement service strategies to improve efficiency and customer
satisfaction. 1. Monitor and ensure compliance with NFPA 72, NEC,
OSHA, and local fire codes. 1. Team Leadership & Training: 1. Lead,
train, and mentor a team of fire alarm service technicians. 1.
Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to enhance
technical and customer service skills. 1. Ensure technicians stay
up to date with certifications and training requirements. Customer
Relations & Sales Support: 1. Serve as the primary point of contact
for clients regarding fire alarm service issues. 1. Work closely
with clients to provide technical solutions, troubleshoot issues,
and recommend service agreements. 1. Assist the sales team in
estimating, preparing proposals, and securing maintenance
contracts. 1. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and
existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Compliance & Safety: 1. Ensure all fire alarm systems meet
compliance standards and pass inspections. 1. Keep up with the
latest industry regulations and implement necessary changes. 1.
Promote and enforce a culture of workplace safety. Technical
Expertise: 1. Troubleshoot and resolve complex fire alarm system
issues. 1. Work with multiple brands of fire alarm systems,
including Notifier, Siemens, EST, Simplex, Silent Knight,
Honeywell, and Fire-Lite. 1. Ensure all maintenance, repair, and
installation work is completed with precision and adherence to
manufacturer guidelines. 1. Design-Build Projects & Drawings: 1.
Lead the design and development of fire alarm system layouts for
new construction and renovation projects. 1. Create and review
drawings, schematics, and submittals for fire alarm installations.
1. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to
ensure seamless project execution. 1. Ensure all designs adhere to
applicable fire codes, industry standards, and project
specifications. Qualifications: 1. Minimum of 5 years of experience
in fire alarm system service, maintenance, and management. 1. NICET
Level II or higher certification in Fire Alarm Systems (preferred).
1. Strong understanding of NFPA 72, NEC, IBC, and local
jurisdiction fire codes. 1. Experience managing field technicians,
scheduling service calls, and overseeing project execution. 1.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical
manuals. 1. Experience in fire alarm system design-build projects
and the ability to create and review drawings. 1. Strong
problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions
under pressure. 1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
for managing teams and interacting with clients. 1. Experience in
using service management software. 1. Valid driver’s license with a
clean driving record.
