Communications-Rare Disease What you will do Lets do this. Lets
change the world. In this vital role you will support impactful
communication strategies to elevate the visibility of Amgens rare
disease pipeline and drive global engagement. Reporting to the
Director of Global Communications, this role is based in the US and
will require domestic and international travel to support
congresses and other key events. Key responsibilities: Global
Communications Strategy Support the development of global
communications plans for Amgens rare disease therapeutic area to
drive successful market building and in-country launches!
Collaborate closely with the US Rare Disease Portfolio
Communications team to apply best practices and learnings, ensuring
consistency in messaging and approach across regions. Patient
Storytelling Support the identification of patients who can share
their stories internally and externally Handle ongoing
relationships with patients and creation of storytelling assets
Affiliate Support and Localization Work with priority countries to
ensure successful execution of the global strategy and activation
of high-impact initiatives. Serve as a key partner to local country
communications leads, responding to requests, providing guidance
and facilitating access to resources. Build and distribute
communications toolkits, templates and training resources for
country affiliates to tailor and implement locally. Insights and
Stakeholder Engagement Support global insights-gathering
initiatives, such as media advisory board meetings and social media
audits, to advise communication strategies and optimize efficiency.
Partner with the Global Patient Advocacy team to advance disease
state education and amplify the patient experience through
compelling storytelling and initiatives! Team Enablement and
Resource Management Support quarterly calls with communications
leads outside the US, including agenda planning, slide development
and logistics management. Support the management of the Global
Portfolio Communications & Advocacy teams SharePoint site and other
digital platforms to enhance collaboration and resource sharing
with local country teams. What we expect of you We are all

patients. The communications professional we seek will have these
qualifications. Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree OR Masters
degree and 2 years of communications, advocacy or marketing
experience Or Bachelors degree and 4 years of communications,
advocacy or marketing experience Or Associates degree and 8 years
of communications, advocacy or marketing experience Or High school
diploma / GED and 10 years of communications, advocacy or marketing
experience Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in the
pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, either at an agency or
inside a healthcare institution. Strong project management and
organizational abilities, with experience handling multiple
priorities in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative and inclusive
mindset with the ability to engage and influence diverse partners
across geographies and functions. Familiarity with global
healthcare systems, media landscapes and regulatory environments is

range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted.
Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not
limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications. In
