Position Description: CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Data Architect/Governance Lead within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. The Data Architect/Governance Lead role is a senior-level professional with expertise in data governance, data architecture, and enterprise data management. This position is located in our Arlington, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Data Strategy & Architecture: Design the overall enterprise data framework, including data models, databases, warehouses, lakes, and pipelines, aligning with business objectives. . Governance Framework: Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, procedures, and processes for data quality, security, privacy, and lifecycle management. . Data Modeling & Design: Create logical and physical data models, define data structures, and design databases and data integration strategies. . Data Quality & Metadata: Oversee data profiling, quality assessments, metadata management (catalogs, dictionaries), and lineage tracking. . Security & Compliance: Implement security measures, access controls, and ensure adherence to regulations. . Collaboration: Work with stakeholders (engineers, analysts, business units) to translate needs into technical requirements and solutions. . Technology & Innovation: Evaluate and recommend data management tools and technologies (cloud platforms, databases, governance tools). Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Education and/or Experience: Must have at least 5 years of experience in data governance frameworks, data modeling, and enterprise architecture. . Security Clearance: TS/SCI . Travel: Must be available for worldwide assignment based on mission needs at government-specified locations, including CCMD environments. CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $113,400.00 - $245,500.00.
