Job Description:
Lockheed Martin, a leader in advanced technology systems and
services for the Aerospace & Defense industry, is seeking a
qualified Cyber Software Engineer to join our dynamic IT and
Cybersecurity team. As a Cyber Software Engineer, you will be
integral in developing security solutions for mission-critical
systems designed to protect and enhance our nation's defense
capabilities. This role requires collaborating closely with
multi-disciplinary teams, thinking creatively about complex
problems, and championing cybersecurity best practices. Develop and
implement software systems and applications for cybersecurity
solutions Collaborate with hardware and systems teams to integrate
cybersecurity measures Analyze system requirements and design
security protocols Perform security risk assessments and testing of
new and existing software systems Maintain up-to-date knowledge of
the latest cybersecurity threats and technologies Proficiency in
programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, or Ruby Experience
with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO) Strong understanding of
network security, encryption practices, and secure software
development Ability to troubleshoot and resolve security flaws and
vulnerabilities Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
