What you’ll be doing The Verizon Global Services-Technology and Verizon Consumer Group (VCG) Security Risk Management Team is dedicated to planning and carrying out SOX controls and various security audits. You’ll work closely with the VCG Security, Verizon Risk Management, and VCG Value Application Development teams to implement and test policies and procedures that uphold SOX standards. Guaranteeing the timely and error-free execution of all IT-Value SOX controls while assessing and reviewing new information in a changing environment. Assisting with the overall compliance posture of the organization Engage with colleagues throughout the organization to improve processes innovatively, including automation initiatives, while staying updated on compliance developments to guarantee the precision of all controls. Working across different systems and tools, such as Microsoft Excel, which is heavily utilized. *What we’re looking for * You’ll need to have… Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience. Experience with IT Compliance, Operational Compliance, Business Controls, Corporate or Information Security, Finance, or Audit. Project management experience. *Even better if you have one or more of the following… * Certifications: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Audit experience at a Big Four public accounting firm or a Fortune 500 organization. Experience driving complex solutions and analytics to provide ongoing and automated monitoring of key risks. Knowledge of SOX compliance, the Annual Baseline testing, and User Access Review and Segregation of Duties processes. In-depth experience in IT SOX and audits. Knowledge of IT Systems, DevOps, and SDLC. Outstanding organizational and communication skills. An ability to handle multiple high-priority projects and stakeholders' expectations concurrently. Where you’ll be working In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $101,000.00 - $194,000.00.
