Job Description:
Remote Job Title: IIS Web Developer (Internet Information
Service, IIS, supporting the Virgina office) Overview: Seeking a
skilled IIS Web Developer to develop, configure, and maintain web
applications hosted on IIS servers. This role is essential to
restoring a key business operational learning server to production
and filling a critical internal skill gap. Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain IIS-hosted web applications Configure
and manage IIS servers for performance and security Troubleshoot
server performance, connectivity, and application issues Implement
security protocols to safeguard data and applications Collaborate
with developers, system admins, and stakeholders Document server
configurations, application setups, and procedures Monitor and
optimize server performance for high availability Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Developer
Associate, CKA, CompTIA Server) 2–5 years of experience in web
application development and IIS server management Proficiency in
technologies such as ASP.NET and SQL Server Strong troubleshooting
and analytical skills Knowledge of web security standards and best
