What you’ll do: • Lead a team of engineers to deliver Generative AI systems and experiences that set the industry standard for quality and engagement • Coach, mentor, and support engineers at a range of levels to do their best work • Partner with product management, product design, learning design, and marketing teammates to iterate on and grow first-of-its-kind AI coaching products • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and participate in scoping and roadmapping • Stay up to date on the state of the art in Generative AI and lead the discussion on how to best leverage the latest technology and build for the future • Oversee the scaling of our Generative AI product offerings to millions of users If you have some or all of the following, please apply: • Experience building machine learning powered products and systems that serve millions of users • Experience building with the latest GenAI technologies • A track record of success managing engineers at all career levels from Associate to Staff • Experience working collaboratively in a cross-functional team and with people at all levels in an organization • A high degree of initiative and ownership, combined with the ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt quickly to change • Alignment with BetterUps mission of enabling self-driven behavior change • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, verbally and in writing • A passion for continuous learning, customer empathy, and a desire to innovate within a fast-paced environment.
