OB Hospitalist Locums Opportunity - Fredericksburg, VirginiaAvailability Needed

• Start Date: ASAP

• Providers Needed: 4

Scheduling Flexibility

• No minimum shift commitment
• Facility can utilize providers for as little as 1 shift
• Open to working around provider availability
• Consecutive shifts are typically not scheduled, but every-other-day scheduling may be accommodated

License & Certification RequirementsRequired License

• Active Virginia medical license

Board Status

• Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) required

Required Certification

• BLS

Call DetailsCall Type

• In-House Call

Responsibilities

• OB Hospitalist coverage
• Admissions required
• Assigned patient rounding
• Labor and delivery management

Coverage Model

• Two OB/GYN physicians on call 24/7

• 16-20 patients per shift

• 24/7 in-house anesthesia coverage

Trauma Designation

• Level II / Level III Trauma Center

Ideal Candidate

• BC/BE OB-GYN physician
• Active Virginia license in hand
• Current BLS certification
• Comfortable with admissions and inpatient rounding
• Interested in flexible ongoing call coverage
• Able to work collaboratively within a two-physician coverage model
