Cath Lab Tech Location: Rockville, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,023 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/4/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cath Lab/IR Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in Cath Lab/IR Experience with cardiac stent placement, temporary pacemaker insertion, programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion, and angioplasty License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS ACLS ARRT (or RCIS with Cath Lab and IR experience) Must-Have: Strong Cath Lab experience Ability to work in IR No tobacco use Description: We are seeking a Cath Lab/IR Tech for a day shift position. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology. Candidates must have strong skills in cardiac stent placement, pacemaker insertion, and angioplasty. The tech will be involved in elective catheterizations, both diagnostic and interventions, STEMI, IABP, and pacemakers. Weekend call will be required, with approximately 1 full weekend per month. On-call duties include responding to STEMI calls within 30 minutes of activation. Candidates must meet a strict no-tobacco policy and will be subject to nicotine testing. A positive nicotine test will result in immediate cancellation. Interdisciplinary support and patient care will focus on adults and geriatrics. Travel experience is preferred, but applicants should have strong skills in the required areas. Please ensure you have the necessary certifications and experience before applying.
