the Principal at Rivermont Schools, you’ll provide leadership and
vision that foster academic excellence, positive school culture,
and student success. You’ll oversee daily operations, support a
dedicated team of educators and clinicians, and ensure the school
meets all academic, behavioral, and therapeutic standards that
define Rivermont’s mission. What You'll Need - Master’s degree in
special education, school administration, or a related field - At
least 3 years of experience working with students with disabilities
- Eligibility for or possession of a valid VDOE postgraduate
professional license with endorsement in administration and
supervision or special education - Proven leadership,
organizational, and communication skills to manage teams and ensure
compliance - Valid Virginia driver’s license What You'll Do - Lead
daily school operations, ensuring compliance with VDOE regulations,
accreditation standards, and Rivermont policies - Supervise and
support staff in delivering high-quality academic and therapeutic
programming - Oversee curriculum implementation, student
assessment, and individualized treatment planning - Maintain
accurate records, monitor service quality, and ensure
accountability for student outcomes - Foster positive relationships
with students, families, staff, and community partners to
