Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Rosedale, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,022 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/24/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Med/Surgical/Telemetry License: Must possess a valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Ability to pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms - Comfort working with diverse patient populations, including those undergoing gender affirmation surgeries Description: Seeking a registered nurse for a Med/Surgical/Telemetry unit. The position requires telemetry experience. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to adult and geriatric patients. The unit has a post-operative focus but also handles various medical diagnoses. Candidates must be familiar with central line care, phlebotomy, IV management, and telemetry monitoring. Work hours will include weekend shifts every other week and two out of three winter holidays. The patient ratio on nights is typically 1:6. All staff members may come into contact with COVID patients. This facility requires all employees to have the flu vaccine. Scrubs must be navy blue and are not provided. Candidates should be prepared to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. References from previous supervisors will be required.
