About the Position Job Title: Float Pool RN Profession: Registered
Nurse Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night
Hours per Shift: 8 hours (23:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2
years of Nursing experience, with at least 6 months to 1 year in a
Psych/Behavioral health setting. License: Must have a permanent RN
license in hand at the time of application. Certifications: BCLS
required. Must-Have: Solid clinical judgment. Strong assessment
skills. Delegation and leadership qualities. Description: Float
pool nurses should have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
Candidates should have at least 6 months to 1 year of experience in
a Psych/Behavioral health setting. Float nurses will be experienced
nurses working across various inpatient units. Experience with
children, adolescents, and adult age groups is important.
Candidates must demonstrate solid clinical judgment and assessment
skills. Delegation and leadership qualities are essential for this
role. RNs may be required to work as the charge RN during a shift.
No additional pay will be offered for charge RN responsibilities.
All candidates must pass drug screening prior to onboarding. A
strong stance exists against accepting medical marijuana cards for
this facility. Candidates testing positive for marijuana will not
be considered. RTO must be submitted with the initial application.
Licenses must be valid and in hand at the point of application.
Previous permanent employees must wait one full year before
applying for this position. Fingerprints must be done in the state
where the facility is located. Candidates may request an extension
on the fingerprinting deadline if applicable. Requirements Required
