M-F, 7A-5:30P, Weekend and weekday on-call rotation, holiday
on-call rotation as needed Experience: Minimum of 3 years in
specialty License: Valid nursing license required Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, & PALS Must-Have: 2-3 years of experience in the
specialty is required 2-3 previous travel assignments in the
specialty are required Ortho/Neuro experience is preferred
Description: The position involves working in the operating room
with an average of 28 cases per day, including add-ons. The nurse
will be responsible for circulating cases and supporting surgical
teams. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of
surgical cases excluding Open Heart. Experience with neuro spine,
total joints, and open fractures is highly valued. Scrubbing is
preferred but not required. The nurse will be expected to respond
to on-call assignments with a response time of 20 minutes. Weekend
and weeknight on-call duties are a requirement. Scrubs are provided
for staff. The hospital maintains adequate staffing levels to
operate up to 8 ORs, with 2 techs for every RN. Cancellation policy
allows for up to 2 shifts per 13-week assignment. Charting is
performed using an electronic medical record system. This role is
set in an acute care setting with a nursing division. The position
requires availability for varied start times and block scheduling
