Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CCU - Coronary Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - 3x12 Day Shift/n/n Assignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n Day shift, 3x12.0 hours per week. /n/nJob Description/n The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed and supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. The RN plays a vital role in promoting patient and employee safety and is essential to maintaining a collaborative healthcare environment. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission to form individualized care plans. /n - Identify teaching needs and goals related to patient diagnoses in collaboration with the healthcare team. /n - Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record accurately and in a timely manner. /n - Participate in the patient rehabilitation program, ensuring a focus on patient education and quality outcomes. /n - Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission. /n - Communicate pertinent information regarding changes in patient status among care providers for continuity of care. /n - Provide direction and supervision to nursing personnel while effectively managing time and organizing priority tasks. /n - Contribute positively to the unit's functioning and team dynamics. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - BLS Certification required prior to the first shift. /n - ACLS certification required prior to the first shift (CIRH ONLY). /n - Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience required. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
