Previous charge experience (2 years preferred) - Experience with
telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias - Familiarity with
EPIC charting system Description: This position is for a blended
PCU and Medical Surgical unit. The patient ratio for the PCU is
1:4. The unit consists of 28 beds with a mixture of
medical-surgical and progressive care patients. Target patient
population includes adults and geriatrics. The unit provides care
for patients with complex medical conditions including
gastrointestinal, cardiac, renal, hepatic, endocrine, sickle cell,
hematological, and respiratory disorders. We also specialize in
gynecological disorders and surgeries. Care is delivered using a
multidisciplinary approach, collaborating with physicians, case
managers, home care, pharmacy, physical therapy, occupational
therapy, and social work. Telemetry is provided at the bedside for
progressive care beds, with remote telemetry monitored by a
technician. This role may require floating within the scope of
