Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 06/30/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: RN - Clinical Supervisor (Labor & Delivery) Location: Washington, DC Shift:(3 x 12)-hour Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Duration:13 weeks Compensation: Weekly Gross: $ $2,617.00 Per week On W2(Taxable): $720.00 Per Week ($20/hour) Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,897.00 Per Week Job Summary: The Clinical Supervisor in Labor & Delivery provides shift-to-shift operational oversight to ensure quality patient care, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to safety protocols. This leadership role supports nursing staff, facilitates patient flow, and maintains the environment of care. The position also encourages employee engagement and leads or supports performance improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Oversee clinical operations during assigned shifts in the Labor & Delivery unit. Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care delivery aligned with hospital standards. Support staff with decision-making, resource allocation, and patient management. Participate in and promote shared governance and process improvement efforts. Role model organizational values and maintain a culture of accountability and compassion. Requirements: Education: BSN – Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring – Required Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Clinical Supervisor in Labor & Delivery – Required Minimum 1 year as a Charge Nurse – Preferred Must reside at least 100 miles away from the hospital location.
