Job Description HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Washington, District of Columbia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Oncology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 06/30/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description: RN – Radiation Oncology Location: Washington, DC Shift: 8 AM – 4 PM, Monday to Friday (8-hour day shift) Work Hours: 40 hours/week Contract duration : 13 weeks Travel: Must live within 100 miles Compensation: Weekly Gross: $2,529.00 Per week On W2(Taxable): $800.00 Per Week ($20/hour) Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,729.00 Per Week Key Responsibilities: Provide safe, competent nursing care to Radiation Oncology patients in accordance with facility policies and standards. Demonstrate patient-centered care and professional leadership within the healthcare team. Maintain Service Excellence standards consistently. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. Current state nursing license required (District of Columbia). BLS and ACLS certification required. Minimum 2-3 years experience in Radiation Therapy/Oncology required. Epic EMR and Aria EMR experience preferred but not required. OCN Certification preferred but not mandatory. Skills & Competencies: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. Must pass any pre-employment assessments required by the facility.
