Summit Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVPICU for a travel nursing job in Falls Church, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements

• Employment Type: Travel Must have 2-5 years of Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience
  Must have experience with invasive hemodynamic monitoring, vents, inotropes (see common drips)Prefer experience with management of post op complex congenital cardiac patients
  Prefer experience with ECMO, CRRT, Berlin Hearts, and Heartmate IIIBLS, PALS required.
  # of Beds: 8-12
  Common diagnosis/Types of Patients - Complex congenital cardiac disease, heart failure, Myocarditis, Cardiomyopathy, post op congenital cardiac patients, Berlin Hearts, Heart Mate III
  Required to titrate drips- Yes
  RT Equipment: Vents, trachs, Cervos, LTVs, high frequency, occasional home vent
  Self Scheduling
  Scrubs: Navy Blue Scrubs, can wear colorful top
  2-3 days Unit Orientation
  Shift expectations (i.e. 6a-6p)
  7p-7a
  Weekend expectations (i.e. Every other weekend)
  every 3rd
  Floating Expectations (i.e. first to float, None, etc)
  first to float
  On-call expectations (i.e. on call 3X per week)
