DescriptionIn this rapidly evolving world, Leidos is always looking for new ways to disrupt the status quo, go to market faster, and optimize customer experiences. We're seeking an experienced Product Manager to support our government customer, responsible for leading a team of Product Owners throughout the product lifecycle. This includes gathering and prioritizing requirements, defining the product vision, and collaborating with engineering, development, and stakeholders to meet customer satisfaction goals.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of product management for software solutions, especially within software development and enterprise IT. You should be able to work collaboratively across business units, deliver business outcomes, and drive commercial success. You must have initiative, be comfortable challenging the status quo, and employ a data-driven decision-making approach.Candidate MUST:Role will be hybrid onsite in the DC office with possible telecommuting options. Must be local to the DC Metro area for onsite meetings in Reston, Rockville, or DC. Candidate MUST be located in the United States for the past three consecutive years. Must be a US Citizen or US Person (Green Card Holder) with the ability to obtain a level 4 Public Trust Clearance.Responsibilities:

• Maintain product roadmap and backlog, incorporating inputs from vendors, current business needs, operational and strategic planning.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap aligned with customer needs and business goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, identifying user needs, pain points, and objectives.
• Provide operational leadership and clarity on the development path for the product.
• Prioritize features based on business value, customer feedback, and market demand, managing the product backlog and working with development teams.
• Communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap effectively to internal stakeholders, managing expectations.
• Participate in an agile environment, working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Develop clear user stories to support development efforts and product advancement.
• Oversee product releases, ensuring smooth deployment and launch in collaboration with development, QA, and release teams.Basic Qualifications
  • Active Public Trust Clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of related IT experience, including 5 years in product leadership or agile project management. Additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Must have experience as a Product Manager on a federal government program.
  • Proven success in leading or coordinating product development for cross-functional teams.
  • Experience building trust and collaborating within complex organizations.
  • Experience supporting custom solutions or configuring vendor solutions.
  • Certifications such as Professional Scrum Master, Scrum Product Owner, etc.
  • Proficiency in strategic thinking, project management, product lifecycle, team leadership, and change management.Technical Skills
    • Experience in product management and business analysis, especially in network management solutions.
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate requirements into product plans.
    • Knowledge of UX principles and collaboration with UX designers.
    • Experience in agile development and software releases.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to provide product demonstrations and status updates effectively.Certifications
      • Scrum certifications, ITIL, Six Sigma, Lean, etc.
      • Project management certifications like CAPM, PMP, PMI-ACP.
      • Experience with SharePoint Online modern pages is a plus.Masters degree in IT, Business, or related field is strongly preferred.
