Description: Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our service team in a full-time role. This position is ideal for a technician who takes pride in accurate diagnostics, high-quality repairs, and delivering reliable work for every customer. A Virginia State Inspection license is a plus but not required. Requirements: Key Responsibilities Perform accurate diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer vehicles. Complete work according to manufacturer standards and flat-rate guidelines. Communicate clearly with service advisors to ensure efficient repair workflow. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Stay current with automotive technology, training, and manufacturer updates. Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs. Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies. Skills & Competencies Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic abilities. Proficiency in performing advanced repairs and maintenance. Ability to work efficiently in a flat-rate environment. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Ability to use OEM scan tools and diagnostic equipment. Professional communication and teamwork skills. State Inspector license a plus. Honda or Acura experience preferred. Certifications & Licenses Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Automotive certifications (ASE or manufacturer-specific) preferred. Honda or Acura certifications/experience preferred. State Inspection license (optional but beneficial).
