Job Description:
Position: Technical Operations Shift Engineer Location: Elkton,
VA Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts (2 PM–2 AM or 6 AM–6 PM,
including weekends) We’re seeking an enthusiastic and technically
skilled Shift Engineer to support vaccine, biologic, and sterile
manufacturing processes at our GMP facility in Elkton, VA. This
role offers a 50/50 split between floor support and desk work.
Qualifications: B.S. or M.S. in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical
Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or related
field 1–3 years of industry experience Beta-lactam exposure
required (no known allergy) Must be mechanically inclined and
comfortable troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Experience: Experience in a cGMP environment Internship
or co-op experience in the industry Key Responsibilities: Provide
technical support on the manufacturing floor Perform data analysis,
investigations, and report writing Troubleshoot equipment/process
issues and implement CAPAs Support change control and continuous
improvement initiatives Collaborate with operators, maintenance,
