Job SummaryAptive is seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI
Engineer to be part of their Corporate (Strategic Innovation) Group
to develop and implement cutting-edge AI solutions that address
both internal and client-facing needs. This role involves
collaborating with internal stakeholders to refine AI use cases and
exploring emerging technologies for integration, while partnering
with client-facing teams to deliver tailored, innovative solutions.
The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise and
creativity to drive scalable implementations, enhance
organizational capabilities, and deliver measurable value, enabling
stakeholders to solve complex problems and achieve mission-critical
outcomes through AI.Primary Responsibilities
- AI Solution Development:
- Design, build, and deploy AI/ML models tailored to project
requirements.
- Implement machine learning algorithms, deep learning
techniques, and natural language processing (NLP) methods.
- Enhance existing AI systems to improve accuracy, efficiency,
and scalability.
- Data Processing & Management:
- Analyze large datasets, preprocess data, and extract meaningful
insights to train robust models.
- Build and maintain data pipelines to support AI/ML
workflows.
- Collaboration & Prototyping:
- Work with cross-functional teams to define project goals,
timelines, and requirements.
- Rapidly prototype and test solutions to address business
challenges and client needs.
- Research & Innovation:
- Stay updated on emerging AI trends, tools, and frameworks.
- Research novel AI techniques to solve complex problems.
- Performance Monitoring & Maintenance:
- Continuously monitor model performance in production, ensuring
stability and reliability.
- Implement self-correction techniques and retrain models with
new datasets to prevent performance degradation.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Document AI models, processes, and architecture for internal
teams and clients.
- Present findings, recommendations, and solutions to leadership
and stakeholders.Minimum Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial
Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming
languages.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and
libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn).
- Familiarity with NLP tools, LLM models, and reinforcement
learning.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for
AI/ML deployments.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases for data handling.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in AI/ML development and
deployment.
- Experience working on AI-driven projects for federal agencies
or large enterprises (preferred).
- Familiarity with healthcare or defense-related AI projects
(e.g., ARPA-H initiatives) is a plus.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical
teams.
- The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain any
required government background investigation, such as a Public
