Job Description:
Assignment Length: 60 Days (Potential for extension based on
project needs) Location: Dumfries, VA 22026 (Local candidates only)
Schedule: 10-hour days | Start between 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Availability required for 2 scheduled weekend shifts (dates TBD)
Overview: We are hiring a Site Safety Professional to support the
installation of new pipeline infrastructure for Dominion Energy.
This position plays a vital role in ensuring compliance with safety
standards during all phases of construction. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine field safety inspections (70% field / 30% office)
Communicate with site safety teams, Site Project Manager, and Site
Owner Prepare Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and maintain safety
documentation Oversee compliance with site safety requirements and
support a proactive safety culture Respond to incidents and ensure
timely corrective actions Minimum Qualifications (must meet one of
the following ): Bachelor’s degree in safety with a minimum of five
(5) years of large project experience in a construction safety role
as a titled safety professional; A minimum of five (5) years of
experience on a large project in a construction safety role as a
titled safety professional and current with the OSHA 500/502
Training Course; CHST designation with a minimum of five (5) years
in a construction safety role as a titled safety professional.
Note: Candidates who do not meet at least one of the above
qualification criteria will not be considered for this role.
Additional Information: Environment : Primarily field-based (active
construction site)
