Job Description:

Our client, an association, is seeking a temporary to permanent event planning professional to provide specialized Events and Meetings support in Linthicum, MD starting ASAP! Responsibilities: Coordinate all logistics for internal and external meetings. Source venues and conduct space negotiations. Handle catering, registration, AV, and entertainment. Coordinate travel and housing needs. Manage budgets, reconcile invoices, and review billing for accuracy. Handle other event-related tasks as required. Qualifications: 3 years of hands-on event and meeting experience is required. A bachelor's degree is highly preferred; An associate's degree is required. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office 365 and a comfortability with event software are required. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail. Compensation/Benefits: $30/hr-$31/hr, while temporary, DOE. $63k-$64k, when permanent. Starting ASAP! Hours are 9am-5pm. 2-3 days/week onsite in Linthicum, MD. Free parking!
